hi guys have an oild change on the scooby how much oil does a 99uk take?

 

are you doing oil and filter if so you will need about 5 liters

 

a little less -- about 4.5 -- but I would start checking the dipstick after 4 ltrs

 

Strongly agree with this, it takes a long time to drain out, longer that you think and you can't shake it! Pre fill the oil filter before fitting and include this oil in the 4ltrs to start with. Check the dipstick and top up slowly to just below the MAX mark (top hole not notch). You will probably find just over 4ltrs will do it. I use this method every time I do my MY99.
