Rev Limit
Although I don't have a habbit of watching the tacho it looks like my rev limiter is around 6.5k. Its caught me out a couple of times and I seem to be shifting to 3rd well before 60mph.
Theres no chip installed in the ecu (see otheer post)
I'm used to my old GTi6 which went upto 70 in 2nd so is it just me??
Thanks Again
Stu

Gearing and final drive is quite low on WRXs (adds to the tremendous acceleration) -- bound to be shorter than the Pug GTI-6's, hence can't get to 60 in 2nd.
I have a 1993 WRX saloon, and am off to ZEN's tomorrow morning. I'll try to remember to check the speedo when gunning through the gears and compare notes.
Whilst at ZEN's, I'll post up on this thread what I find, via my mobley...

Cheers, that would be appreciated, I think I just need to get a bit more used to the car, but I had a feeling they must generally have close gearing. Top speed on a local runway I have access to was around 135, give or take, but that was hitting the limiter @ 6.5k?
