Exclamation WHISTLING??????

HI GUYS i have a whistling coming from my car its just come out the workshop, i had a new cam belt and an oil seal done, now i have a whistling i dont think i had it before any ideas my scooby chums cheers guys ?????????

Check that the airbox is clipped together properly mate. it happened to me.

Does this "whistle" change pitch with engine speed? If it does, and given the work you've had done, the likeliest cause would probably be an overtightened auxiliary drive belt making the alternator bearings whine.

i phoned the guy up and he said when they road tested it they was aware of it and he said they took it back in and checked the aux belts and were fine, but i have found the cause now lol think it was dump valve leaking, i now have it chattering. any 1 know of a good sounding dump or how to get a really loud chatter cheers
