MY94 WRX spluttering when cold, fine when warm
Hi everyone,
Still having dramas with my94 wrx. I can start the car first thing in the morning no problem, idles fine. I drive up the street, come to a stop to wait for a break in the traffic, take off again and..... splutter cough splutter!! I am not giving it full throttle, just light accelaration and will keep spluttering until its warmed up. I dont want to have to sit in the garage every morning till it warms up. Any ideas???? I have cleaned the MAF, IAC valve, PCV valve, no air leaks that I can find.....
Thanks in advance

MY94 WRX splutters when cold, fine when warm UPDATE
Hi all,
Just connected the green and black test connectors and went for a drive while cold. Car spluttered up the road and immediately got a fault code "32" oxygen sensor. Does this sound right to you guys with the symptoms I have?
Thankyou in advance

Yes.
Cold-start rich map probably overides the Lambda's closed-loop operation - hence as per normal. Then when warmed up, Lambda does its thing. So if it's knacked, then could cause rough running like what you're seeing.
There is a way to measure and check the Lambda's voltage output, before condemning it..
