Default oil pump/front crank oil seal replacement

this may sound a stupid question, but can this be removed and resealed with out major work, i.e just taking cam belt covers off undoing main pully? as would look like mine is starting to leak either from the seal or the seal for the oil pump houseing , aswell would anyone know if the 1.8 impreza has the same oil pump houseing and oil seal as the 2L, any information would be great,

Cheers Jason

Default

you will have to drop the cambelt off and the toothed pulley to be able to acces the front main seal and pump, not sure about the seal compatibility sorry.
