Yes. If yours is a MY99 (Sep 98>on), then the front bumpers are of the same style (the P1's just has its famous splitter on it aswell). That said, even the earlier MY93-98 sytle-bumpers swap over no problem, although you may need to fit the MY99/00 bumper mounting/safety bar (not sure).
Re. rear bumpers: all bumpers - saloon and wagon - are intercahngeable.
Question: why do you want to change your rear bumper to a P1's? It is exactly the same style as from Sep 96 bumpers (MY97>on) i.e with the smoothed over accent line

well I was on eaby and I saw a p1 front bumper for sale and also a p1 rear bumper it just might have worked out cheaper to buy them and fit them intead of buying a p1 splitter fitting + colourcoding and the same with rear one with plastic spliters already colour coded etc. plus its hard down my way to find a decent painter!
Moneys tight at moment had some ****ty news that theres no overtime at present and stuck on 16 hour contract!
just looking for ways to get stuff done on a budget!
Fair play joz you are the man when it comes to the tech section!can always rely on you to help out!

Ahhh, I'm wid ya, lol.
I didn't realise that any Turbo 2000 AWD shared the same colour Sonic Blue as the P1 (unless yours has been previously resprayed, of course?)... it all make sense now.
Thing is mate, in my experience of monitoring P1 bumper auctions in the past, bidders obviously 'know' what they are, and the selling price seems to end up between c.£200-250 (sometimes more!)...

You almost literally learn something new about Subarus everyday on here.
That's spooky , as I was off work yesterday, ill......ish. But thanks for asking.
Funny you mention this too , as it's just finished the 1000mls running in. It's into ZEN's this Fri (5th) for the proper oil/filter change... and of course the remap. Can't wait to get back to the full 1.1bar on my new engine (Commander is obviously set to 0.6bar by Paul for running in duties).

Hope so, as the desirable 300+ barrier will surely be on the cards...

Gumph! Funny you should mention this as well! ... I've got the A'PEXi boost control kit i.e. solenoid + 3.0bar MAP sensor (but will prob just use the MAP as the OEM BCS is fine). I'm gonna bring them along just in case Paul can map @1.2bar (or maybe a tad more ) -- I'll see what he says, though.

Cheers.
It's a modest looking Imp compared to many (it'd look a lot nicer if I cleaned the damned thing more often! ) but I like the way it looks/sounds/goes.
I'll try to remember to take some pics whist it's on the lollers lol.

Well how about you setup another thread in regards to people opinions and stuff for your motor then that'll sort out your guilt. hehe
And we can continue there.

Quicker boost response from what i have heard. Mate anything you learn on that mapping session please let me know, as not many people go down the PFC route and its always good to know more about it.

I'm 40 and still have all me hair (although I find it really hard to muster the energy to 'do' it in the mornings like when I was pre-27-odd ).
Yes, still on std TD05 16g. Still going (very) strong after 15.5 years! (assuming it's the original). It pulls like a train and no signs of impending failure. I love this turbo!
Intend on getting a Hybrid or Hyperflow FMIC, IK, 550cc + remap on the TD05 before the year's out, for circa 350/350...

Hyperflow IC's ain't cheap either, surely when it comes to value for money stakes the hybrid is favoured in my view.
Or infact a few peeps have used thew Autobahn with good results up to 450bhp.
I've got a td05 16g with a 360 thrust i rebuilt the thing myself and will never let go of it although my new project car has a VF23 and awaits engine removal this weekend by moi. hehe
I bought so much stuff for my sti v2 1996 over the 2 years i had it and some of the stuff i cannot use, so when i get the chance i need to gather everything and get it up for sale i think, as the old girl is sitting at mum and dads (written off).

It'll either be the Hybrid or Hyperflow.
Thing is, I'll want the supplier to fit it and it would mean trapesing all the way to Darlington to get harvey to fit the Hybrid. Ideally harvey said best to factor in a 2nd day, so got to allow for serious petrol cash, plus cash for B&B or hotel!
If I go Hyperflow, then Zen can do it (a far more ameniable 50mls away on the M1/A14/A509) - although I'm sure they'd need 2 days too(?)
Are you currently sans Impreza wheels then?

Yes that's right, the early OEM TY752 4-bolter.
Why not. I DON'T do launches and rarely hoon. Just commute - only 55-60mls in a working week!
Prob only ever have a proper hoon once a month on ave. (the fuel cons. is a great moderator ).

I think you meand without by the "sans" lol, yes without a scoob but i will survive lol. As i will be rebuilding the engine myself and doing all the other bits and bobs myself too, as funds allow as i will be doing the house rennovation at the same time and that will take priority of all funds.
I have a selection of engines, but am considering on keeping the type r standard for the time being as otherwise i will have to buy that GT35 or GT30 and begin to go loopy. Not to mention the bigger/stronger short motor.
Oh and the wretched cost of 6 speeder and clutch sheeesshhhhh nearly forgot about the ECU and they're not cheap.
