Default Car Wont Start

hi, new here. I bought a 94 sti v1 a few weeks back. crank seal came out a bit and was leaking. so replaced the seal, changed the timing belt but cant get the car to start now. is there anything that sometimes happens to stop it starting.

it has a good healthy spark, seems to get fuel through but the plugs arent soaked. it tries to start but just doesnt seem to get there. made sure all the timing marks are lined up like in manual. got good tension in the belt. checked to make sure its all still lining up.

just doing my head in as everything seems to be as it is but just wont start. any ideas would be helpful cheers

Are you "sure" the timing is correct, no damage made to the pick ups on the crank sprocket when removing ?

And FWIW if you do pull the timing belt of again, i recomend you check the oil pump backing plate, as you may find it's loose.
