Fuel pump making nasty whine
After driving for a while (over 30 minutes usually, and not hard driving) there is a nasty whine coming from the back of the car. It is a constant pitch regardless of speed, and can be heard inside and outside. I'm 99% sure it's the fuel pump.
It's been doing it since I bought the car nearly 2 months ago, no other issues. I have been told that it's an uprated fuel pump (possibly a Walboro but not 100% sure).
Should I be worried, or is it pretty normal? Will it eventually give up and should I fit a new one as a preventative measure?

If its been doing it since you got it, and its an uprated Walbro or similar, I wouldnt worry too much as the whining noise is quite common with these.
I have a Walbro 255lph one on my classic and you can hear it whining away from the rear of the car
