DCCD
Just bought a Type R, please can someone explain DCCD? I know I have a button thing to control it but should it only be adjusted when stationary,
I want to make sure it works

i,m really surprised you dont get massive transmission windup when its locked and you are running on tarmac
on 4x4's that run locked centre diffs they tell you not to run it locked unless you are on gravel etc
or is it just that you are putting more torque to the rears in which case i suppose you are not locking the diff?

Fully locked (or 2nd position from front) is for very loose gravel/snow/ice where the locked (or all but locked) axles can slide around on the tyres, without massive strain on the drivetrain.
