well after taking the cover off to see which tensioner i have on my 97 jdm sti
i found i have the hydrolic tensioner so i have orderd one of those a cambelt and new water pump is there anything else anyne thinks i should buy whilst im doing this change my car has done 62,000 miles thanks in advance
p.s i dont mean things like lightweight pullys etc just run of the mill things etc

Check the idler pulley bearings. If they're noisy, new idlers are about £130 EACH! So do what I do, and buy the ball races and fit them for about £30. The races are a standard size off the shelf at any bearing supplier.
