my 94 impreza is smoking on boost its black smoke its really heavy on gas i think its over fuelling its nearly cutting out when you are coming to a stop roundabouts, junctions, get a we smell of petrol car just feels really lumpy a bit jumpy through the gears i did a diagnostic and the maf and throttle sensor came up could this be my problem i changed the maf the other day and no different?

 

sounds like your maf sensor is the culprit my friend had this blowing black smoke out and turbo not kicking in did you put a new or second hand maf on.

 

it smokes when the turbo kicks in and feels pretty lazy
