The manual will say take the rad out, but you should be able to get enough clearance by just removing the fans. Check for leaking crank and camshaft oil seals and rocker covers. The oil seals need the cambelt off and are peanuts to buy so kills 2 birds, and if you are doing the oil seals the rocker covers will come off - same again.

If you are not replacing the tensioner, make sure you relieve the pressure and lock it off with a small allen key or something prior to refitting

Good news is it can easily be done with engine in situ - no problems. Relatively straightforward (someone will no doubt post up the procedure, etc.). Just make sure all the sprockets, etc. are lined up correctly before refitting new belt.

While you're there, might be a good idea to remove water pump and stat and check overall condition, and the speed of response of the opening of stat in boiled water.

Remanufactured water pump from GGR is only £38 (I have one - working fine). You can get an uprated Zero Sports stat (have one too lol) that opens earlier at 71C (rather than OEM 78C) from Lateral Performance.

Yes. Defo check that the oil pump's bolts haven't loosened... Torque them all up and use an appropriate bonding fluid on them too. People seem to mention Threebond 1215 (I think that's what it's called )...
