please help - removing spoiler!
Hi all,
ive recently fitted my sti8 spoiler onto my wrx (4 bolts + double sided tape method...) and im not happy with the way its gone on!
Anyway, long story short i want to take it off 2nite and refit it propperly this time! lol... Ive taken the 4 bolts off, and even though its only been on like 2 days the double sided tape around it has stuck like sh*t!!
I did some googling and some ppl recommended getting the misses hair dryer... other ppl recommend sloshing on some 'Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover' and gently sliding something like a credit card or something under it....
Whats gonna be the best way guys to get this off???
Cheers in advance!

but i suspect the foam center will be its weak point! i think a good soaking with that AG tar / glue remover and a cutting action with the dental floss should get thru it - once the spoiler is off i can clean it all back down, and propperly prep the boot!

the Autoglym tar remover is very good at this kind of thing, but you need to polish afterwards as it strips the polish, etc, from the paint.
I use it to remove my very well stuck number plates! LOL
same problem, no grip and glued like a good en! Takes time, but be patient and it will work. Allow it to soak in a bit first.
