Hi all,

I posted a message a few days ago that I was having major misfire issues especially under load on my 94 WRX. After removing the plugs and coilpacks, I noticed 1 of the coil pack was labelled (22433AA300) which is out of a subaru svx. I ordered the new coil pack (22433AA330) for the 94 wrx at a cost of $246 AUD!!!!! I installed the new coil pack today and all is good It seems the SVX coilpack is not compatible with the 94 WRX even though they are identical!!!!! I only just bought the car, so the previous owner may not have known or was looking for a cheaper way out as the svx coil packs are alot cheaper!!

Well all is good now, no misfire or hesitation and runs like a dream. Had to change the oil as well as unburnt fuel got into the oil.
