hi, i thought my turbo seals had gone untill i had a poke about the engine bay and found a split on the intake pipe.
The intake pipe did have some oil in it and was around the split. The car smoked on boost and is using oil.

Is my turbo bust or will the split in the intake have something to do with the use of oil and smoke on boost????

replace the pipe and after a short while see if it still burns oil

If it's a TD05 you have i can assure you my turbo was fine and there was oil everywhere upon further invetigation i noticed that quite a few pipes were blocked, causing oil too pool in the induction pipework.

Let it breath again and it should be ok, if not it will be wretched turbo seals.
