Default Cambelt n oil question

On my 94 wrx do i just need the new cambelt to change it or do i need a cambelt 'kit' and which ever i need which is a good place to get the right one. How many miles is it before you are meant to change the cambelt?

Also where is a good place to buy engine oil plus gear box oil and how much do i need to change them both exactly?

cheers

got a cam belt and main tensioner(always change the tensioner)
as for when to change it,best to phone a good garage as most places give difffrent answers..

and they will be able to recommend a good oil.

my mechanic said to me that the tensioners on the flat four configuration are less stressed than other conventional engine layouts -- so dont always need to be changed

but if they do then your in that part of the engine anyway so may as well have it checked or replaced but remember the timing belt kit will come with the pulleys but not the tensioner it comes seperate as for oil i would go 10/40 semi or fully synth oilman has a good rep and will help you in that respect.

Unless you have s/h get it all changed asap.

Got my cam kit from here, no problems,

Subaru Impreza Turbo Timing Belt Kit up to Oct 1996 on eBay, also, Subaru, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 17-May-09 17:34:54 BST)

And always get my oil from here:
