Default Should I be concerned

Getting a slight tinny rattle from under the engine but it's at Idle or when pulling away from stationary it goes once im above around 2500 RPM. If I tap the accelerator as the revs die down it happens aswell. I have checked the oil cap and header tank and I dont have any sludgy build ups and the car also drives fine and boosts ok I'm thinking it could be my heat shield maybe

any help welcomed cheers fellas

its fine, most impreza or subarus get it. mine still does it after a 3.5k forged rebuild, just warm up and maintain it and should be fine

it still could be lots of other things, get it checked out by a specialist

Have a poke at the up pipe heat shield. My bet is you will be able to spin it round. You can see it just infront of the turbo, buried down in the engine bay.
