Hard to say, but an estimate (lots of factors can cause drag that reduce BHP@wheels) but 205-210bhp.

Beat me to pointing that out, losses are a variable feast, depending what type and system a rolling road is and uses it will vary tremendously. You could put your car on a Maha for example, or any that use coast down loss factors and your paw would be low but losses very high (even up to 50%), A Dyno Dynamics rolling road correctly set up and using Shoot_44 typicaly calculates losses to be 21.8% (ish).

cheers

dunx says 352 bhp !

This is based on 22% losses.

I have had a laptop estimate mine at 340 bhp, but a hub dyno said 277 bhp, so 23 %

HTH

dunx

P.S. Historical information as it's obviously much more now.....

Dunx,
A hub dyno figure is also difficult to compare as hub losses should be less than wheel losses in theory.

I previously made circa 435bhp at the hubs on a HUB Dyno and then the next day 498.5 at the fly on a Dastek Dyno. That equates to a 15% loss between that Hub and that Flywheel Dastek Dyno. 23% is way too high imo.

I have just had my car HUB Dynoed at 486bhp. Whilst I would be amazed if it made 558.9bhp at the fly (based on 15% losses), I would eat my own **** if it made 597.78bhp at the fly (based on your 23% losses).

Post the sheet up so that a better flywheel guess can be made

transmission loss is a black art, some folks say you loose 22%, some say 26%, and hub dynos 12%.

but it will vary greatly.

trbh im not sure what use power at the hubs is? wheels also have a big affect on power yet hub dynos dont use them.

ultimate dyno is def and engine dyno, but who wants to have there engine ripped out for a dyno day lol

Zak recomends using a 16% loss.

so, you should have no less than 319bhp at the fly

as already said, it's a funny one depending who/what dyno's it.

you could post up your figures in a thread and some smart **** will say you've had a bad map as your flywheel figure is low, then if you add 22% someone else might come along and say you're just talking pub figures.

it's as random on here as it is on a rolling road (just a little 'heads up warning' for a newbie)

TBH it was just a crazy guess, mine felt nicer to drive at a lower figure, but big numbers sell product (?)

I'll pull the motor out and bench dyno it to see that !

dunx

P.S. I may even have a bottle of nitrous leaking nearby to make sure
