Default 3port boost solenoid diagram

As above. Does anyone have a diagram for where the hoses go as I'm going back from a electric boost contoller which only has 2 hoses. The car is a v3 type r

Don't have an air box, where does that bottom pipe go

It can just be left to vent to atmosphere, just make sure the restrictor pill is in place Can be had from your main stealer for a couple of quid

Sorry to hijack but is a v4 sti 3 port solenoid the same set up as my restrictor pill is in the top pipe, the turbo outlet nipple on the pic.

Will i need the pill if im running an apexi fc? its running 1.4bar

Yes you will do, especially if the car is mapped with the pill and also as your using the original boost solenoid.

If you consider going to a AVCR you can get rid of the pill

That solenoid system is incorrect for the V3, its only for the MY92-96 cars, the connections are as shown but the restrictor (which is 2.0mm in that system) should definatelky not be fitted, its not needed on the early cars either with a remap, it just slows boost response, use 4mm bore fuel hose to plumb in and then you do not need anything else

Thanks for that. My hose is 4mm but the actuator nipple is alot smaller

On the Sti 4 the three port is the same (but different part number) and yes the pill is as std fitted to the top pipe adjacent to the solenoid itself.
