Ok im a bit confused, i have a legacy tt import. Its a m plate 95 standard apart from turbo timer.
Now every now and again, but quite regularly it seems to suffer from fuel starvation, the engine seems to die but never does and when i ease of the throttle then it comes back but if i put the throttle down more it just does not respond.
When this happens the engine check light comes on but then it goes off and everything is ok

Is there a simple check to do as im not great with a spanner or do i have to get it plugged in and see what fault codes are stored??? Im assuming there stored in the ecu???
Lots of stupid questions sorry

Well the starter clicks a couple of times, hence im looking for a starter but it always starts within a couple of turns of the starter.

Am down the south coast and have heard about a company called mission motorsport who are import "specalists" so was gonna have it booked in with them to run some diagnostice if need be.
