Default Apexi ecu and power comander

I am getting a scooby within the next few months and want to find out as much as i can firstly. I am getting a 95-96 classic wrx model.

Im going to get a few mods done, such as a decat air fiter, and hoping to turn the boost up to .8bar because i think they are .6 standard? So i am looking at the above ecu and power comander, i take it i would have to do the mods apply the ecu then take it to get remapped. I know its going to be expensive but worthwhile to do. Does this sound like im going down the correct route, sorry to sound like a complete noob lol.

Also if someone has one of the ecus and hand comander coming up for sale within the next 8-12 weeks please let me know, and can someone give me a rough price of one.

Sorry about all the questions..

Cheers

Yes ecu and commander (Power FC is the ecu ,the commander is the hand held unit).

Uprating the brakes is also worth looking at as the standard 2 pots are quite poor.
