Default 99 turbo 2000 engine

my mate is wanting to buy a subaru!!

he has found a uk turbo 2000!! its 367bhp full sevice history from a subaru
specialist!! but the engine has 137,000 mile on it!!

is this engine coming to the end of its life or will it go on for an other couple of years??

oh and its got standard uk pistons in it!!

thanks, phil

If it is genuinely pushing that power on a std 137k engine I would'nt expect it to last much longer. I woul say find another car or budget for a rebuild.

tif that car has not had a rebuild its going to need one soon!!! and trust me ive been there after 2months of owning the car its not fun! take your time buying its worth it. if its cheap there is a reason. also if its a uk turbo like your saying it will definitly have lots of mods to get it that bhp, turbo will not be the small td04 anymore may have a fule pump etc. and even a standalone ecu or remapped??? just watch it i bought mine and then it cost me 3k after 2months
