Default Intercooler Water Spray doesn't work :(

On my recently purchased type r, the intercooler water spray doesn't work! Don't really know how to go about sortin it. I assume the first place to start would be the switch, then check lines, then finally pump, fuses etc. My question is, is it linked to the washer jets or does it have a completely seperate system, and if so anyone know where pump etc located? Any help appreciated

My water system was on a totally seperate bottle, I always had mine on auto and it emptied the bottle in about 100miles

Hi, It is a seperate system. The reservoir when looking under the bonnet is to the left, behind the drivers headlight between the black intake pipe. Does it not work off the switch? Mine didn't work and found that the connector to the switch had been swapped with the dummy one next to it, You'll have to take the trim off and check. If i remember it had happened to a few people on here and i checked that first.
Cheers
James

The bottle is in the back and you should be able to here the pump working, if it is working then the hose may have a blockage

Right well managed to find the reservoir bottle, it is behind the headlight!, and from lookin at the back of the switch, all seems to be connected properly. I cant see the pump on the bottle in any obvious place, but it is rather cramped I may have missed it!

Thought I bump this up as my v4 type R has no working intercooler spray jets,

any one tell me where the fuses are for these, looked in the fuse box under the bonnet but couldn't see them listed, is there a fuse box in the car?

No noise coming from them if it helps

thanks
