Whats the best ecu for classic wrx?

Whats the best standard ecu for a wrx with td05, I know the z4 is good is there any others?

Well allegedly the 6K from a STI2 is BUT i've tried it and a couple other people have and have had a few problems.

Which ecu come with the chip socket installed.

early jap ecu i think it was the Z5, early UK ecu was 7D iirc (but the UK one will put the CEL on without a chip in it).
