Default Car Stressing Me Out

Hello everybody, I have a 95 impreza import which I haven't done any mods on her so far. Only saying incase you need this information to help me work out whats wrong.

So... My car was missing quite a bit a couple of weeks ago and when I had some extra cash I changed the plugs (prf6b ones gapped to 0.07),

They didn't do much on thier own so I checked the coil packs and they were all cracked and spilt so I changed all 4 of them.

I also changed the Fuel Filter, Knock Sensor, Engine Oil and Gearbox Oil and Cleaned the MAF.
After doing all this I pulled the battery off so it could reset the ECU.

Now when I'm driving she seems to be hesitating quiet a bit when I put my foot down then jerks and she pulls again. Its almost as if i'm in to higher gear and not enough rev's, if that makes sence but she does this in any gear at any speed. Really doing my head in!

She idles fine but I think she seems to sound like she is running to fast even tho the rev's dont move, Its almost as if the fans are on but they aren't or when you turn the steering wheel full lock it makes a wining sound. Thats what she sounds like when running (sorry i'm just trying to explain the sound the best I can)

Plus I have no lights on the dash.

I dont like driving her at the moment because i'm worried she is going to break down and i'm going to blow something up. I want her running right because I want to go to the jap fest in may and i'll go mental if she lets me down. I have even thought of selling her becuase there always seems to a problem with her, plus I haven't got money to spend on her at the moment either.

Any help would be really helpful
Thanks Claire

Ok thanks,
I have had fault reader put on the car and it didn't show up any faults. The temperture is fine all the time always half way up and if i leave it running the fans come on like they should. Plus the engine light hasn't been on at all.

do you have a boost gauge at all ? It could be that you have a small air leak causing her to drive fine when bimbling around and then jerking like a mule when you put your foot down and coming on boost.

If you don't have a boost gauge I would suggest you borrow one or buy one

I have had my new exhaust fitted this weekend and bought a second hand maf to see if that would help stop the car jerking/hesitating. I drove her up to the japfest last week and she was jerking on the motorway and this is at any steady speed. She does this for a few seconds and then is fine again. So I thought maybe it's got something to do with the exhaust, it may have had a small hole in it that I couldn't see and that was causing this problem. But after picking her up on saturday and driving her home, which was is about 50 miles she was still doing it if not worse. I'm now thinking its the fuel pump, its as if the pump is on it's last legs and starving the engine of petrol of a few seconds and then gets a blast of fuel and runs fine until the next time. Still no engine light tho.
How does this sound like it may be the problem? I'm really fed up because I've tried loads of things and nothing is working, Plus I dont have the funds to keep throwing at her all the time.
