Default Ive ballsed up - dropped a washer into my gearbox

I have been fitting my Prosport gauges today, done the boost and oil pressure, got round to the oil temp and i removed the clutch inspection cover for easier access to the hex nut (as i did this on a mates when helping him fit his), removed that and when i was fiddling about trying to retrieve the washer it fell through the hole down the inspection cover!!

I can see the washer inside just resting up against the side, i doesnt look like its fouling anything. I dont have any intention of running the car whilst like this, any ideas how i can get it out? Tried a magnet but it just sticks to everything inside!!

I feel like a ***!

Is it in the actual bell housing or the gearbox?

I dont think its the gearbox now, its the clutch inspection cover under the I/C that it fell down - the clutch is a sealed unit isnt it?

You need a dyson and a few plastic drinking straws taped to the end of it.

If it's in the bell housing don't think it will fly into any danger there. The chance's of it getting into the clutch are pretty slim. although garages will tell you otherwise, as they are seeing ££££

you have the black metal cover under the box/engine so removing that may allow it to fall out the other end?

its about 3/4 inches by about 10 inches i would say held on with 2 10mm bolts close to the rear bolts that hold the engine mount on. cant miss it
