Default subaru wrx sti type r no dccd

i m looking at buying a subaru sti type r of ebay its a w reg 3 door dark blue 5200 i ve asked the owner does it have dccd he said no i thought all the 3 door type r s had dccd is something not right about this car

it shud have dccd.. it might even be that the owner doesnt know what ti is.. as i have come acrros guys with type r's who dont touch it and never knew it was there.

The non sti Type r came without dccd.........

i explained to him about where the button is an he says it does nt have it cud this have been covered maybe something broken

wrx ra have four doors.......It could be a wrx type r....ie non sti version.

post a link to it.....

This one...1999 SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI TYPE R BLUE 2 DOOR MODIFIED on eBay, also, Subaru, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 12-May-09 00:49:51 BST)

Maybe it was ordered without the dccd...or possibly removed at later date.

Cant quite see from pics if it has the indicator on the dash...

ask him if it has ABS...???

Doesn't have abs can see the intercooler bottle on the pics.
Tbh Dccd is not to everyones taste so bet it's just been removed, but why is the car so cheap???

If a genuine 1999 Type R STi then the Applied Model code will be:-

GC8F2DD (MY1999)
GC8G2DD (MY2000)

Also, it should have the DCCD light in the dash and the thumbweel potentiometer by the handbrake. If the seller/car is genuine, he should be happy to forward you pics of this evidence...
