Default MY00 Classic rear end cabin noise..

Hi guys this is my 1st 4WD car and just wondered how much noise you guys have in the cabin resonating from the rear diff/drivetrain etc area. I have noticed a more or less constant whirring kind of noise can be quite loud at lowish speeds, seems quieter at higher speeds it doesn`t sound like there is anything badly wrong no knocking clunking grinding etc just seems noisier than I imagined it to be (same kind of noise with clutch dipped).Changed rear diff oil and the right amount came out with nothing nasty in the oil.The car drives feels and handles A1.Thanks for any input..

Hi Dragon, it may be the diff. However, when I first drove mine I was really surprised how loud it was. My ears immediately thought the rear was really loud and there must be something wrong. I had it checked and all was well, turns out there just loud, must be that thin cardboard boot floor. I came from an st24 at the time and that was really quiet and very slow
