Those EBC pads are supposed to be ****e.

Play safe and go for Ferodo DS2500 - similar braking power and non-fade characteristics as carbon-metallic ones... BUT without the wheel-destroying sparks!

As for OEM sized discs: most aftermarket discs tend to warp on performance cars (certainly from my experience) so I'd be inclined to fit Brembo items. Of all the discs available, I'm sure these would be the most resilient to warping (and brake fade). They're ventilated, and come as either plain, grooved or cross-drilled. The latter is normally a no-no, but I think the Brembo's holes are actually formed at source in the casting process, so shouldn't crack after many heat cycles.

That said, I'd play safe and get the grooved ones...

Just need to speak to Ian at Godspeed or Alyn at ASP really.

I'd say Pagid RS4.2-1 black or RS4.2 blue

From that link, you'll need to select:-

'Subaru'
'Impreza WRX'
'02-05'

Then you'll be presented with the grooved and x-drilled options for that application.

Or just contact Oilman via PM/email, to be totally sure...

Ferodo DS2500 pads for sure. As far as discs, you get what you pay for. I went for DBA Wiperslot 4000 , coupled with DOT 5.1 and braided hoses, together they provide an awesome setup which is fade and noise free.
