Hello mate,

I use one of these on mine when I don't blank off the DV altogether.

The Forge recirc only recircs matey. When I had my air box on you could hear the pressure being blown back into the air box. Now and then on full boost in the cold air you could hear a slight chatter.

However now I have the MD321 turbo and cold air feed you can hear it chattering away etc.

I can honestly say that having the Forge Recirc improved many things over having a VTA.Smoother and more responsive gear changes and idle for a start.

What air filter system do you have at present? If you have a air box, I would remove the snorkle and do the following.......remove the crappy resonator in the wing. (Remove arch liner, undo the nut in the engine bay and the whole thing will come out)

Feed a flexi hose to the air box back into the arch liner itself and hey presto you have a cold air feed!!!

Failing that if you have a Induction kit already or CAIK the Forge will make it chatter away like a good'un.

I use a RED spring with added shim. But that on the MD321 dude.

Steve

To be honest I can't answer that mate air/fuel question.

If it did I wouldn't have thought a great deal as your still keeping the air box. Maybe a mapper (JGM) can answer that matey. I would have thought it would be no different than running a VTA?
