Default MY98 Uk Turbo oxygen sensor

Hi

I have been running an Apexi Power FC ecu which was mapped by JGM,and recently had a few cold running problems with the car.I decided to reconnect the origional 8S ecu to flag up any fault codes there might be.Fault code 32 has come up which indicates oxygen sensor, now problem is i have only just replaced the oxygen sensor in the downpipe about 3 weeks ago.It is a 3 wire type (black and 2 whites),my question is when connecting up the 2 white wires, does it matter which white of the oxygen sensor goes to the 2 whites of the engine connector ?

No, it does not matter, they are for the heater. Did you use a OE sensor or a cheaper universal type??

As mentioned the 2 whites are for the heater circuit + and -, so don't matter which way round they go.

Do you have a Commander too? If so, put then PFC back in... plug in Commander... go to [Etc] > [Sensor/SW Check] > O2-1... Is the value continually cycling up and down between 0V and 0.9V? If so, then the Lambda's working fine.
