Default '95 WRX STi not sure.

Just wondering a bit, i have a 1995 WRX STi V2 Wagon import. It came standard with 260bhp, the gearbox, engine and chassis code all point to the info above but i am not sure it is a STi. I have the slant type intercooler, no intercooler spray and nothing but a WRX sticker on the back.

Anyone else have STi's with the same trim?

Mines the same mate, when advertised it was a WRX STI, it has 260bhp, slanted intercooler with no spray and just the WRX sticker on the left side of the boot. Thought mine was just a WRX!?

Could be wrong, usually am!

STi V2 wagon runs a TD05 Turbo instead of the smaller TD04 and uses a SC ECU.
This runs with a map from a Z4 ECU 260ps WRX on its hence why spec'd at 260ps.

the sti v2 cars had the slanted intercooler most did have water spray full sti black and grey interior and i think the wrx badge should be the big cartoon style one in the middle of the boot not the small one on the side of the boot should have an sti badge under the side repeaters on the wings, as some one has said they were wrx cars converted to sti spec so no alloy bonnet or wishbones as standard (RA not included) td05 turbo, red inlet manifold, mid cat removed a resonator box was fitted hope this helps also if you remove the ecu cover you should see a chip fitted saying GF8STI on top of it, this is mine when i got it over from japan changed a bit now
