im getting the engine fault code 22 which is knock, can anyone help me? what is it and how do you solve it, the car stutters when you accelerate hard...

 

22 is 'knock sensor' It will prob need changing. Heres a few threads about it

when i click on that link is says sorry no match... i read up on the net a bit about the knock sensor fault and it says that the sensor detects noise and vibration and that either the sensor is faulty and needs replacing or its too sensitive and needs sheilding from other background noise.

 

replace sensor with a genuine subaru item and then reset ecu,job done
