Ive got an 1800 '93 Impreza and I stupidly ran out of fuel a couple of weeks ago since then every time I put fuel in (not a lot at a time unfortunately) she doesn't want to start first time even though starting is no problem at other times. It takes foot to the floor and keep turning over till she eventually fires up reluctantly but after that runs ok .Any ideas anyone this could get embarassing.

Not checked yet did wonder but she runs ok otherwise so not sure. thanks for the input
