Default Has any of you guys heard of byteshooter or bdm ecu remapping

Down the road from me there is a company called chiptronics, there on the web, and they offer remaps for about £500, they use the software called byteshooter or bdm to do this, i think it used to be called flashbooter. Have any of heard of this and would you think it would b safe? I'm in Surrey and this is the closes place to me. This is there web site, www.chiptronics.co.uk
