Default PISTON ?

Hi guys,
i have a 1995 wrx block but one piston has failed, the other 3 are ok. i have 3 other pistons from a 1999 block will one of these pistons work in my 95 block

Nath, AFAIK there of a differnt compression ratio so wont be suitable, they are also graded A and B for sizing and from what i can rememeber from rebuiling my 96 car there handed left and right too. Best bet would be to post in the wanted section as i'm sure there's a few garages with them in knocking about. one other thing to consider would be why the piston failed in the first place, bad fuelling, over boost, both of which can cause det and high cylinder temps, condition of the oil is also a factor to be considered. You need the correct piston, is it the 'dog bone' type?

Think its a dog bone type mate, Not have that much luck with my scooby atm, i really looking at set of pistons, rings, headgaskets to get her back on the road. im on a very tight budget atm as my insurance my come 1st lol £320 a month !
i just cant wait to hear her purring again

I no lol, but i wanted a scooby since i was little about 4 year ago LOL, and the whole reson why my car is broke was going though a flood which ****ed my MAF up
