Im Running a 94wrx with a recently fitted FMIC .when its coming on boost the car whines really bad and keeps whining until i throttle off.

any ideas??

im thinking maybe boost leak but ive checked all pipework numerous times.

mine does the same,doing my head in.are you using a dump valve or is it blanked off.
hoses are tight and it holds boost fine as well.

I have the same on my STI 03.

All hoses are tight i checked them and even re fitted all the pipework. i have a forge dump valve fitted. Its going in for a re map soon so maybe they can find out. It would be nice to sort it before just incase it causes problem for mapping

could it be the air passing thru a blocked or closed up vain in the front mount?
almost like a low whistle?

its high pitched like a leaky boost pipe.
