Default HELP PLS CLUTCH CHANGE

Hi peps been fitting a new clutch to my impreza i took engine out rather than gearbox had flywheel skimmed fitted it put all back together started it up getting like a metal ticking noise coming from geartbox any ideas please ? could it be the thrust bearing not in properly ?

Could be the thrust bearing not located correctly but normally causes engagement problems.
It might be the center plate boss just touching the flywheel bolts if the flywheel has been skimmed to any great degree - has been known to happen.

Hi thanks for reply engages gears fine the noise gets worse when the pedal is pressed in think im going to take it out again and see if i can see anything
