hello, strange question for you good people,can anyone tell me where the dipstick sits in the sump on an sti8 engine?.just that my cars parked on a uphilll slope,and i think its causing the oil level to read low, thanks in advance, pete.

 

You should check the oil level with the car on a level surface. No idea where the dipstick sits though, sorry

Well, on Classics it's on the right-hand side, as you're standing in front of the car facing the engine bay. I don't think it's in a different position on an STi v.8

But how far forwards or back on that side on the engine the bottom of the dipstick is sited, I don't know.
