Default fault code 24/33

right guys can you help me please, my car has gone in limp home mode? wont rev over 4.5k.
did a fault code check today and it comes up with the following...

24. icv which i cleaned last week and didnt work, i have now replaced it with 1 from a friends which he's breaking and still no change?

33. vehicle speed sensor? were is it? cos i have no speedo? i thought the cable had come out of either the box/ kph,mph converter/ or the clocks?

please help

oh its a 1997 sti wagon, jap import.

Just after doing a check and faults 24/33 after popping up aswell.
Did you get yours sorted??
