Default Heat wrap how much needed ??

As above I need enough to wrap just the down pipe of my 2006 sti, its just the first de cat section which is not very long so I'm guessing about 4 meters of the 2" stuff. I found some on ebay called (cool it by thermotec) but you buy it by the foot, any ideas

Sounds about right.
Think about the circumference of the pipe compared to the diameter. A 3 inch diameter pipe will be just over 9 inches circumference then you have the overlap of the wrap.
I have been told you can get thermotec cheaper than the guy selling on ebay, I guess you would need to buy a whole roll and share with someone.

I don't think it is cheap stuff its £4.00 per meter so it would cost something like £50.00 -£60.00 to wrap a down pipe ?
