it will take the subaru burble away mate if you still wana keep it then put un-equal length on. plus you wont notice big gains til a remap, best going with a full turbo back exhaust with an up pipe and un-equal length headers and a remap and you cant complain

if i was you id get either un-equal or equal which ever sound your wanting but there isnt much power dif in both and get the remap tweaked and make sure you heat wrap your headers. just wat ur saying i got my car mapped n all ecutek one with turbo back n air filter n that n bigger intercooler and stuck on headers after but i havnt got it mapped again and its running fine no problems and didnt affect any running issues or lag

might aswell put headers on so he'll have them and wont need to buy another set again, cause if he spends money polish and porting them then decideds 2 go big bhp then he'll have to go buy set of headers which will be wasting more money

…or he could get the OEM ones ported and benefit from better improvements in spool, and response and be happy knowing will take him over the 400bhp mark, and save quite a few £'s.

Don't do it! NOOOOOO! lol.
Forget tubular headers unless you are on monster power.
Ported OEM ones will do you more good than anything else.
Trust me, i know what i am on about! Just think about the saving too.
