Cooling fans in engine bay ?
After removing all the heat shields to fit a downpipe i got thinking, wouldnt say,120mm 12v fans be better than heat shields, for the brake fluid area ?
cant see how pieces of metal plating help keep areas cool,if anythingm would of thought it would heat things up its around as the metal heats it heats whats its attached to,the brake fluid resrvoir etc ?
hmmm

The metal heatshield is meant to 'absorb' the heat and then gradually dissipate it. Whilst metal is not the best material it does the job that is intended.
If you think about the fans on your radiator which are set to come on to aid the cooling of water, imagine the amount of fans you would need to cool a turbo. It just dosent make sense, they would be on constantly
