Hi All, First time on here so pleased to meet you.

Ive had a 53 WRX STI UK Spec with the Prodive Pack for a few years now and about six months ago, I started hearing a grinding noise from the rear end which the Subaru dealer reckoned was the left wheel bearing (however some £400 poorer I found out it wasnt!) and its been getting worse and worse ever since. I think it is probably the rear slip diff although the oil in it appears to be pristine. I think I need to bite the bullet and change the diff but I cannot work out which differential it is. Does anyone know where to get one from for this model? Trouble is I am female so garages would not take me seriously until this last week when its got much worse and they can finally hear it for themselves. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
