Full decat question
I have a 97 uk turbo with a pipercross induction kit which was on the car when I bought it, decat downpipe and decat middle section, the downpipe was put on a month ago, I don't take the car over 5k usually when driving, is it okay to run like this?
Also, occasionally I have a grinding noise from the front left of the car, well think it could be the front, doesn't last for long and happens rarely just driving around normally, could it be brake pads?
Thanks

Hi, many people run the standard ecu with no cats. In an ideal world it would be nice to have it mapped(which yours can't being a 97, new ecu time!), but not essential.
I would take it to a rolling road, just to have the fueling checked. £75 could save you a rebuild if it's not running right.Especially if you've not had the car long, I'd get it checked anyway, just to be safe.
