Default weird uncurable idle problem - plz take a look

right car had been boosting a bit funny for a while now, wouldnt go on boost progressivley getting worse, (which is now sorted, think a loose pipe, boost fine now) anyway last friday night went out for a blast and car started juddering lots, and engine management came on, so parked it up.

gave error code 24, icv. which is rigfht as idle will sit around 500 at times, and when first turn her on its about 1400 - 1500, then drops to about 1100.

tried giving it a clean and reset ecu and CEL stayed off. but if driven hard, idle occasion stays on around 200 or 1500 for a bit, before dropping, definately something wrong with ICV i think.

sunday went to BRETT 555's place and he tried on a ICV, which when fitted and plugged in, made car idle around 1600, slowly creep up to 2000, drop to 1100 and bring engine management light on with ICV error code in about 5 seconds.

Recently got another ICV- both ment to be good, fitted it, reset ecu, tuned engine on, and it did exactly the same. really rough started at 1600rpm up to 2000 and brought ICV error code on after about 5 seconds.

Both of these ICV are ment to be in good working order, so how can this be? they are both green labeles, with same code on label.

any ideas suggestions, i need to replace mine due mot soon, but i cant get any to work, am i missing or doing something wrong?

any help much appreciated

You mean MAF?

ICV does not have a green label on it.
