after my unluck time owning my scooby i now have to put a new engine in it, can anyone tell me what engines would fit a uk300 t reg (1999) any info would be great.

UK300? Thats a newage model isn't it? Would be on a T-reg for sure. Bugeye shape come out on 51/2001 plate. Must be a private plate.

You'll have to be more specific to get a correct answer.

The UK300 is a Bugeye. They came out in 2001.

A T reg/1999 is 100% the classic shape Impreza.

So you've either got a classic that someone has stuck UK300 badges on, or a Bugeye with a private plate.

OK. So its not a UK300. Out of interest. What gave you that idea?

Anyway. You really only have the choice of a 99-00 engine for a straight swap, without unsettling to much, ECU/electrics etc. Anything else is do-able, but more work.

 

must of been thinking of something else mate lol, how much would its cost to rebuild my engine?

 

Seems to be 1500-2000 from what I've read on here.
Best bet is to find out whats actually wrong with it before you think about that.
A second hand 99-00 engines go for around 700 quid.

 

where is the best place to look for second hand 99-00 engines, well i was booming down the a419 and suddenly lost power and oil went everywhere mostly coming for the o/s area of the engine and smoke comming from exhaust lol, dont really no whats wrong with it buddy
