Default ecutek ecu and licence

been offered the above ecu with the ecutek licence just wondering if i fitted it to my car and then went for a remap would it be cheaper than getting everything as a package for £625 cheers

You would save the cost of the license so yes it would be cheaper, you'de be going for a mapping session, similar concept to you changing your engine in a car that already has a license, you go back to get the ECU mapped for the new engine, but you don't need to buy a license. Different mappers have different charges for this type of work so it's difficult to say exactly what it will cost, just that it won't be full up price
