afm noise

Default afm noise

hello

i have 95 sti classic i think v2. for the last month there has been a clicking noise coming from my Afm. it getting louder by the day. does this mean it needs replaceing ?

i have noticed a delay in aceleration and performance reduction.

it may not bet the afm there is a small device which i think is a boost solinoide wich is just behind the afm. it ha two small thin hoses connected one of them conects to a line on 3 hoses connteced top the manifold i think. if i put my finger on it i can feel it click when the throttle is open. is this more likely to be it ?

Yes it will be the boost solenoid clicking.

i have looked at the boost solinoide and its bypasted to the acuator. so should the solidoide still click ?
