Depends on what you mean by OBD
If you mean will it detect a sensor failure and correct, as far as possible, for it then yes. If you mean does it support one of the OBD protocols to allow diagnostic tools to plug in and read fault codes / live sensor readings then no, for that you need the SimTek cable and software... you then get access to a whole lot more than OBD would. If you mean something else then please rephrase the question more specifically

Ah ok well i meant in the diagnostic sense, the car will be remapped so it makes sense to buy the cable and software anyway so in a way you've answered my original quandry.
What is the software like anyway, all i've mapped is a dta ecu so im assuming this is quite advanced by comparison.

Software is one of the better examples in the world of after market ECUs, not necessarily the best for a novice, but structured sensibly and quite natural for a mapper, if you follow me There are more things that can be adjusted, but I'de sacrifice simplicity for flexibility any day!
